One.ERP is a strategic transformation program for business and IT at Deutsche Telekom. It creates agile services for the entire company. For this purpose, One.ERP standardizes data models, business processes, and IT across the group. After 8 successful releases, almost 160 000 end-users work already with the system. One.ERP is the biggest ERP project in Europe and one of the largest ERP platforms all over the world.
In 2009, Deutsche Telekom colleagues had a dream: One figure, one truth. Standardized data, standardized processes, and standardized IT – on one central Deutsche Telekom ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. In 2010, conceptual design was presented and agreed with all 13 national companies located in Europe. In January 2013, the 1st release went live in Germany. Today almost all German entities implemented One.ERP system together with T-Systems Market Units in Germany and 2 Local T-Systems Business Units – Slovakia and Switzerland, also Pan-Net companies, Magyar Telekom (Hungary), Crnogorski Telekom (Montenegro), T-Mobile Poland, T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom. Hrvatski Telekom (Croatia), Magenta Telekom in Austria and Makedonski Telekom (North Macedonia) will follow until 2021.
To gain this global business transformation, One.ERP had to break up functional and national silos. We created an international team with colleagues from all functions and staffed all over Europe, Brazil and India. We prove successful global collaboration of all parties every day. Global data, processes and one DT system works! End-to-End processes are our key for success. The template now grows with focus on automation & retirement.
